About
Bay Liberty Inc. provides Supported Living Services (SLS) and Independent Living Services (ILS) for adults with developmental disabilities. Our mission is to empower the individuals we support to live fulfilling, independent lives while feeling respected, valued, and connected to their communities.
Founded in 2010 by longtime friends Mike Klotovich and Dino Herrera, Bay Liberty was built on a shared passion for compassionate, person-centered care. During their college years, Mike and Dino began working closely with individuals with developmental disabilities and quickly recognized the life-changing impact that quality support, consistency, and genuine human connection can provide.
At Bay Liberty, we believe every individual deserves to be treated with dignity, encouraged to pursue their goals, and supported in a way that honors their unique strengths and needs. Our team is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment not only for the individuals we serve, but also for their families and support networks.

Our Services

ILS
Introducing our Independent Living Services (ILS), designed for adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities by helping them build independent living skills in their home and community. Our clients receive a certain number of hours each of dedicated support, with an ILS staff member meeting with them weekly. We focus on empowering individuals to thrive in their own space while providing the guidance and resources needed to enhance their independence. Together, we can create a fulfilling and supportive living experience!

SLS
Welcome to Supported Living Services (SLS). We are dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental, physical, and intellectual disabilities in living safely and successfully in their own homes. Our goal is to promote independence, personal choice, and meaningful community involvement while providing the support each individual needs to thrive. We believe in creating a respectful and supportive environment that improves quality of life and helps each person reach their fullest potential.

IHSS Coordination Support
In-home Supportive Services (IHSS) is a separate county-administered program that may provide funding for personal care and daily living support so individuals can remain safely in their own home. Bay Liberty Inc. does not provide, approve, or authorize IHSS services. However, when a client receives SLS through Bay Liberty, our role is to help the client and family understand how IHSS works, stay organized, coordinate schedules, communicate with IHSS providers when appropriate, and make sure IHSS support works alongside the client’s SLS plan without replacing it. Our goal is to help make the process clear, coordinated, and easier to manage.
